Grace shines from deep inside your eyes Your presence warms the light around Wrapped inside the magic of that moment When I felt your loving arms hold tight around My heart beats stronger with you near me You spark a passion that I crave I’ll hold you close all through the night Love you till the morning light, chases the stars from up above Sharing those secrets deep inside All the joys on earth I get from you Satisfying those feelings that we crave I long to feel your skin beside me Your love is one enchanting, mystic wave You’ve got me floating on a raincloud I’m hypnotized by every move You’re the soul I long to find, I sense the magic in your mind Those eyes allure and drive me wild When we’re embracing My mind is racing I’m stumbling in a dream under your spell With a style that’s so smooth, you’ve got the right moves Let’s let our love run wild and set us free Feeling the rhythm and the motion of your love You’ve got me floating on a raincloud I’m hypnotized by every move You’re the soul I long to find, I sense the magic in your mind Those eyes allure and drive me wild When we’re embracing My mind is racing I’m stumbling in a dream under your spell With a style that’s so smooth, you’ve got the right moves Let’s let our love run wild and set us free With a style that’s so smooth, you’ve got the right moves Let’s let our love run wild and set Baby let it set us free

I was alone, a little lost inside Looking for a love that could spark my soul and set me free Open the door that had no key You came along, you sat down at the bar Looking like an angel from heaven With those wavy, long brown locks You ordered whiskey on the rocks I said that it was on me And I was melting inside While we were flying up so high the world looked pretty from there Holding your hand, my heart floating through the air Everything was feeling right It didn’t matter what we did or who we’d know I never wanted to let that feeling go As time went on, those roots ran deep Gave you my world and I showed you every little secret of my soul We found a love that made us whole But out of the blue, without a clue You packed your bags and left me to die In this world so cold and cruel You broke my heart and ripped it apart in two I was unraveling fast I started falling down so hard, spinning out of control Losing my grip, and hopelessly dying alone But that’s the way that it goes And I just want to let you know I’ll be alright I’m way too strong to fall without a fight I’ll be alright No don’t you worry about me tonight I’ll crawl on through the dark And find the light Yeah, I will get by I’ll be alright Yeah’s there’s a big ol’ beautiful world spinning round for me The other day, drifting away Dusting off an old box of photos When I saw a face I knew We were smiling and laughing too Well don’t you know, that’s how life goes We had our fun yeah it was nice while it lasted But we all gotta move along And keep on living even after they’re gone Now that I’m out on my own Making the most and mending a heart that’s been ripped and torn Chasing new dreams and taking the world by storm I really hope you find someone and live happily And hope they love you half as much as me

Go and take a look Yeah see the world around you There’s so many people who are struggling to get by Toiling their lives away Scraping by to make it one more day The time has come we gotta turn the tide forever Reach out and build the world we long to see A world filled with love Justice for all and equality Cause we are the minds That shape the future of our lives We can take care of everybody We can make it if we try Tear down old walls and work together We can help each other to survive Yeah the world needs more love to get by Yeah the world needs more love to get by We gotta fight for a change Yeah we gotta take some time to help out one another I speak my mind for humankind Yeah we’re all just sisters and brothers Living under the same bright sun Yeah we all got room in our hearts to love someone Yeah we all gotta make this world our home We can turn this thing around and make peace for eveyone We can take care of everybody We can make it if we try Tear down old walls and work together We can help each other to survive Yeah the world needs more love to get by Yeah the world needs more love to get by

Traveling On 04:09
I see an open road Stretching far and reaching towards the sky Calling me to wander down its path And turn a new page in my life I won’t be gone forever, but I don’t know when I’ll be back again But something tells me I know we’ll meet again Look to that coming horizon There’s a new dawn breaking o’er the land And there’s a bright shining future It’s in the palm of your hands There’s still so much more that I would like to share with you But time will surely cross these paths again Yeah I’m longing to see your face again Blue skies all around White clouds swimming in a sea of blue The clouds are reaching up towards heaven While my hear sings out to you I get lost here dreaming Holding the wheel running circles in my mind Thinking about the good times that we had Like dancing out in the moonlight And waking up to the sun These shoes were meant for rambling That’s why I gotta run Yeah time away is hard today But tomorrow’s right around the bend And life will surely cross these paths again Yeah I’m longing to see your face again When the sun is bright I can feel your love shining in the light A little bird landed by the window pane Sung me a song calling out your name And when the moon is bright I can see your eyes shining in the night Looking down from the stars that shine above

Well it’s been to long since we all came along, sat around the fire and talked No one really knows why the years fly by, so quickly there all we’ve got Yeah the world has been trembling and shaking our souls And it’s time that we all go home To hear stories of old in that place we all know where time stands still Yeah hearts will break and mistakes we’ll all make But time can heal those wounds at the end of the road When we all come home When we all come home No your not alone When we all come home There was something about the sky and the clouds in the summertime out by the bay And that warm crackling fire was a sight to admire when we all came on Christmas Day One thing you could count on through all the years Was that feeling when you walked through the door Where everyone smiled and laughed for a while and forgot about the world outside Yeah life can bring us pain and no one is to blame But if there’s one thing that we know it’s where we all can go When we all come home When we all come home No your not alone When we all come home So many years ago I didn’t even know how much that place would mean But when the water broke ground and brought those walls down well it took a little part of me Hard rains came down and ravaged the town and that house did not remain But wherever you go it’s the people you know that really make that house a home Yeah life has its costs And things will be lost But the one thing that stays true is everyone of you When we all come home When we all come home No your not alone When we all come home

Amazed 03:08
Well baby I’m amazed every time you walk by Hearing your voice is like music to my ears, yeah yeah yeah Seeing your pretty face and making you smile Holding your hand and walking for miles and miles, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah What is this thing called love? A gift for me and you sent from above and coming down like rain So I’m letting it all go So we can watch this flower start to grow Watch it start to grow We can watch it start to grow yeah yeah yeah Well baby I’m in love and I think you know why When we talk for hours just look how the time flies by, yeah yeah yeah You keep me on my toes and make me feel that I can fly Every time I see you well I just gotta smile, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I think this could be love, That gift for me and you sent from above and coming down like rain, I think you know what I mean Cause this world can be so cold but it’s much warmer with you and Me You and me We’re falling Falling I'm falling for you Well baby I’m amazed just looking at our world All the little things just look how far we’ve come yeah yeah yeah Cause every little day, and every little smile Every sunrise lasts more than all the while, yeah, yeah yeah Cause every little day, every little smile Every sunrise lasts more than all the while
7.
Well I had a crazy dream this morning The kind of dream that stays fresh on your mind I stood around amongst a crowd of strangers But I knew they were friends I could see it in their eyes Yeah we all started cheering and singing songs together Lifting our spirits high up to the sky With a vision of peace and wild hopes for the future You cold feel it in the air and you knew that it was time Yeah it’s been such a long time coming We’re ready for some change Can we share this dream together And hope for better days Yeah I see a whole new world around me I see a change on the rise And I believe we can all come together And make this dream of peace come alive Do you believe in love And hold the faith that we can rise above Just imagine how things could be If we could build a home out of a dream Looking out on the light on the horizon Warming up the day and reaching through the sky And even though this dream is slowly fading It’s gonna stay with me till the day I die Cause I can still hear those voices singing songs of freedom I can still see the hope shining in their eyes So don’t ever give up or lose hope for the future Cause there’s a revolution right here on the rise And we’re going home, we’re going home We’re gonna build it on our own We’re going home, we’re going home We’re gonna build it on our own Yeah I see a whole new world around me I see a change on the rise And I believe we can all come together And make this dream of peace come alive
8.
When I look into your eyes I see an ocean of love And all my cares just drift away into the great beyond And every time I hear your voice it’s like an angel’s lullaby A gentle song that warms my heart and makes me want to smile And when that sun comes down and gently kisses the day goodbye I know that I want to be with you under a starlit covered sky Talking, walking on just looking for the dawn Singing our love song just drifting on and on And on and on and on and on and on And when I look into your eyes I see the passion of your soul All the wisdom you possess all the things that you know And every time that we embrace that moment stands still Where everything seems possible there’s a magic that we feel Yeah there’s a magic that we feel And when that sun comes down and gently kisses the day goodbye I know that I want to be with you under a starlit covered sky Talking, walking on just looking for the dawn Singing our love song just drifting on and on And on and on and on and on and on Drifting on and on Yeah yeah yeah yeah Drifting on and on Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Drifting on and on Yeah yeah yeah yeah Drifting on and on and on and on and on and on

Well step right up and seal your fate my friend You gotta take what you can get and see it through to the end We’re just fools who sell their souls for a meager wage Yeah the days are long and it’s a grueling grind You gotta answer to the man who’s higher up on the line The rich man reaps while the poor man keeps his chains Yeah I sell my soul every day For right or wrong I give my life away I got bills to pay and mouths to feed But when I get old I can finally live my dream But I’ll probably sell my soul till I dig my grave So give me a shovel hand me an axe I gotta work for the man and pay my tax And get me to a place in the ground where I can lay my head Yeah the old rat race is like a lion’s den People robbing you blind with a stroke of the pen And everybody’s gotta meet their maker by the end of the day Yeah I sell my soul every day For right or wrong I give my life away I got them bills to pay and mouths to feed But when I get old I can finally live my dream But I’ll probably sell my soul till I dig my grave Might be hanging on By a little thread But you won’t see me hang this weary head Cause I gotta love That’s as big as the sun Aint giving in till my work is done A Ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh A Ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh A Ooh ooh Ooh Ooh ooh Ooh Scraping up the barrel till the bottom’s dry Counting every little penny just to get by Dreaming away every moment till my day is done Yeah I feel a breeze blowing through the autumn trees And I hear a voice a calling me tell me please When can I rest my bones When you pay your dues Yeah I sell my soul every day For right or wrong I give my life away I got them bills to pay and mouths to feed But when I get old I can finally live my dream But I’ll probably sell my soul till I dig my grave Yeah I’ll probably sell my soul till I dig my grave I’ll probably sell my soul Till I dig my grave

Well out here far from the eye There’s no one to hear our primitive cries We move with the wind, we’re destined to roam We follow the spirit that leads us back home When the day is done we ride into the setting sun And chase the light away By the light of the moon we dance and then we’re on our way Well out here far from city lights Away from the masses the stars shine bright We dance round the fire, we howl at the moon We run like a wolfpack, we stay on the move We are free to wander around this great playground And play wherever we’d like to roam The only life that suits us is traveling where we know no bounds We keep wandering on Through desert, forest, and mountain we keep wandering on We’ll have no regrets when we’re gone Yeah the wind will carry our sad song In the wild we’re free to be who we want to be And no one to tell us how we should live Come out here and join us and soon enough you will see That out here, far from it all There’s no one to hear our primitive cries Come dance round the fire and howl at the moon Our home’s where we wander we stay on the move We stay on the move We stay on the move We stay on the move Well la da la da da da....

The road goes on through twists and turns It’s quite the journey there are lessons that are learned And even though, I’ve seen hard times When I look back I stand in awe of what’s behind When cold rain came falling down Drenching me from head to toe I kept my hopes alive And made a promise down the road I would go As I kept on, soon that rain passed The sun came shining down lighting up my path The trees came alive and the birds sang aloud That road kept calling me I went without a doubt Time is a strange little child Playing with our lives Fitting pieces of the puzzle in place Which we cannot replace Our love grew strong, I took your hand Went down that road and etched our name upon the sand We rambled round and found a little place that we called home Now I can’t imagine life without you all alone It’s hard to go without you by my side That mountain is steep and the canyon’s wide When my horizon ends I’ll find peace make my soul’s amends And when our path, forks again That road keeps turning while the journey never ends One day our souls will be the sun and the rain That road keeps going it just calls on different names Time is a strange little child Playing with our lives Fitting pieces of the puzzle in place Which we cannot replace

about

Dreaming Big is New Jersey native, Ben Wilton's, first solo album. Wilton is a world traveler, teacher, guitarist, and songwriter. He produced 10 of the 11 songs on the album, rounding up many talented musicians to back him up. Ben Wilton's unique sound is a fusion of different styles. It's predominantly rock, but his style also contains elements of jazz, pop, funk, blues, folk, country, and reggae. This album will make you dance, make you listen, make you think, and make you smile!

Dreaming Big touches on many themes and experiences. "Under A Spell," "Amazed," and "Ocean of Love," are love songs that reminisce upon the wonders of falling in love. "That's How It Goes" answers back, reflecting on the the pain and anguish of heartbreak, while realizing the promise of new opportunities on the horizon. "Traveling On"and "Far From The Eye" talk of rambling, wanderlust, and the lure of traveling. "Till I Dig My Grave" tells the plight of hard working folk who have to make sacrifices to make ends meet. "Turn The Tide" is politically and socially charged. One of the two main choruses states emphatically, "The world needs more love to get by." "Share The Dream" is a peace song that calls on people to come together and change the world. "When We All Come Home" tells the story of a beautiful home that served so many, only to be ripped and torn apart by a storm. The song was inspired by his great aunt and uncle's house that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. The final song, "The Road Goes On," looks back upon life, reliving its joys, and sorrows, its fortunes and hardships. The chorus evokes a kind of mystical nostalgia: "Time is a strange little child, playing with our lives, fitting pieces of the puzzle in place, which we cannot replace."

Each song has a uniquely different sound. The album's first track, "Under A Spell" has a funky, hypnotic groove with a monstrous horn section. It features enticing backup vocals by twin sisters, Cheryl and Steph Spinner, as well as the raspy, salacious trumpet work of Sean D'Antoni. "That's How It Goes" is poppy and upbeat, with many layers of harmonies to back Wilton's lead vocal, and a dazzling sax solo taken by Andy Demos. "Turn The Tide" has a big, fat sound with riffing electric guitars, reminiscent to 90's alternative rock. "Traveling On" features soaring, rhythmic acoustic guitars backed by a driving rhythm section and Marty Schmidt's melodic organ. The horn section returns on "When We All Come Home" along with a riveting and spirited performance from the entire band. "Amazed" has a jazzy, poppy, acoustic feel, and features call and response vocals from Ben and special guest, Chloe Demos. "Share The Dream" begins with the full band, but then thins out to only Ben singing along with his acoustic guitar. The band gracefully returns layer by layer, and this track features Laura Dubois' beautiful piano as well as Wilton's heartfelt singing. "Ocean of Love" is laid back and romantic. With its bossa nova-esque rhythms and Josh Mayes' cool, groovy bass, the song whisks you away to a tropical beach. Ben wrote the tune while he was in Costa Rica. "Till I Dig My Grave" is darker in nature, featuring bluesy guitar and bass riffs. The bass was played by Wilton's cousin, Cory Pula Bowers, and Wilton plays a haunting melodica, which adds an interesting layer to the mix. "Far From The Eye" rocks and Dreaming Big concludes with a nostalgic, thought evoking tune entitled "The Road Goes On."
